"Old sins cast long shadows"
The Palestinian and Israeli conflict is over 100 years old, and has been the root of a lot of war and international policies. Many of the world's countries, corporations, groups, and others have been forced to publicly take a side, and those who live there have been forced to live with those consequences. In this week's Tuesday Fix, we will explore the conflict, settlements, and role of Jerusalem in this impactful divide.

1. The Israel-Palestine conflict: a brief, simple history: In this video, Vox takes us through the history of the conflict, from it's inception, to the major players and influences, and to where the conflict is today.
2. Israeli settlements, explained | Settlements Part I: Because Israel has much more influence with the world and more power than Palestine, the original borders set between the two have been withering away, with Israelis moving in and settling in Palestine land. Explore this in Part 1 of Vox's story on the settlements.

3. Why Israeli settlements don’t feel like a conflict zone | Settlements Part II: In Part two of the settlement story, Vox goes in to talk to the those who have moved in to these settlements, and the different thoughts and feelings they have about living there.
4. Why Israelis and Palestinians both claim Jerusalem: This last video dives into the city of Jerusalem, and why it is very important to the entire conflict, and how the religious and geo-political aspects of the city and its history result in it's status today.
