Week 8: Artificial Intelligence

"Survival is one step on the path to living."

Artificial Intelligence is "the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages." Or in simple terms, when a computer is able to behave or solve problems like a human. The field of Artificial Intelligence, or AI is growing everyday, and this week, I have some starter videos to get you caught up on what AI is about, and what it is doing now.

1. What is AI: While This videos will get you all caught up on Artificial Intelligence, from the History of AI, to types of AI, to the different explanations of what this technology can do!

2. Creative AI: One of thee big question about whether an AI can truly be 'intelligent' is if it can be creative. This video explores an AI technology that tries to trick other AI's, and in turn, is able to create pictures that seem very real!

This New AI Can Write Anything: W In continuation to the previous video, this creative AI has expanded from pictures to writing it's on tweets, blog posts, articles, and replies that is so articulate sometimes that it is hard to distinguish from a human, furthering the answer to the question if an AI can be intelligent!
